How high are tandem jumps?
It is generally accepted as safe for a tandem jumps to be from at least 8,000
feet. This allow enough time to exit the aircraft and deploy the parachute.
At West Point Skydiving Advententures we normally jump from 10,000 to 13,500
feet depending on the weather and the aircraft available for the jump. No matter
what height you jump from it will be an amazing experience that you won't
forget!
Beware, a few dropzone actually try to charge you more to jump from higher
altitudes. Don't fall for it! Check out our
prices. We don't charge different rates for various altitudes.
